Tromso Co., Ltd. participated in the ASEAN Youth Economic Forum (AYEF) 2024, held on April 4–5 in Vientiane, Laos.
The AYEF 2024 program aims to provide young leaders from ASEAN countries and Japan with opportunities to directly engage, collaborate, and strengthen closer relationships between the two regions. The forum brought together many participants from ASEAN countries, particularly those involved in the agricultural sector.
One of the most impressive aspects of the event was the proactive engagement of the young participants. Many confidently delivered presentations, while audience members actively contributed thoughtful questions and comments. The dynamic exchange of ideas and constructive dialogue created an inspiring and highly energetic atmosphere.
The experience prompted reflection on the potential role of young Japanese professionals in such international forums. Japan is widely recognized for its outstanding technologies, including in the agricultural sector, where many companies and farmers possess advanced expertise. By engaging in dialogue with international counterparts, there are undoubtedly opportunities to gain new insights and generate innovative ideas.
Although Tromso is a small company, we continuously seek opportunities to expand our perspectives through engagement with ASEAN and African countries. By communicating directly with local partners and experiencing different agricultural and economic environments, we aim to foster new ideas and approaches that cannot be developed domestically alone.
