Participating in the Workshop on Private Sector Contributions to Climate Change Adaptation in Thailand

On March 12, Tromso Co., Ltd. delivered a presentation at the “Workshop on Private Sector Contributions to Climate Change Adaptation in Thailand,” hosted by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI).

The workshop brought together a wide range of stakeholders, including representatives from international organizations such as the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB). The strong presence of international institutions highlighted the growing attention being paid to climate change adaptation initiatives across ASEAN countries.

In addition, Tromso will participate in the ASEAN Youth Economic Forum (AYEF), to be held in Laos on April 4–5, where we are scheduled to present our biochar business initiatives. A separate article covering this event will be shared in due course.

Recently, we have seen a growing number of inquiries related to biochar, as well as increasing opportunities to present our work at various international forums. This reflects the heightened interest in the field trials and agricultural applications of biochar that we have been conducting over the past two years.

Based on the data and experience accumulated through these demonstration projects, we plan to expand into full-scale biochar business operations in Japan starting next fiscal year.

If you are interested in Tromso’s new biochar initiatives, please feel free to contact us through the inquiry form on our website.
