Tromso’s proposal for a water purifier using rice husk activated carbon has been selected by UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organization) for the “Project to Support Japanese Companies Overseas by Demonstrating and Transferring STePP Technology for the Prevention of Infectious Diseases in Developing Countries.”
Tromso will install 200 built-in water purifiers in hospitals and schools in Soc Trang Province, Vietnam, to provide clean water to medical professionals and citizens. After the completion of this project, Tromso will work with the water purification centers under Soc Trang Province to introduce water purifiers to commercial facilities and households.
