Hello everyone. My name is Takahashi from Tromso Co., Ltd.
I will be taking over from Murakami and be in charge of the blog and news articles on our website. Thank you for your support.
This time, I would like to introduce an article that was published in the morning edition of the Chugoku Shimbun newspaper about our aim to open the former flower center that we acquired as a biochar R&D center.

The Biochar R&D Center consists of three buildings: a biochar manufacturing equipment development building, a biochar research building, and a cultivation building.
In the biochar research building, we will install equipment that can analyze the composition of biochar and measure greenhouse gases.
In addition to rice husks, we are considering many agricultural residues as raw materials for biochar, and we are building a facility that can perform everything from biochar analysis to cultivation demonstrations, with the aim of using many agricultural residues as biochar and locally producing and consuming biochar. As for biochar production equipment, we also plan to add brick-type biochar production kilns to our product lineup in anticipation of producing biochar in areas and places where electricity is not available, and we will continue to focus on developing equipment and kilns.
With that said, if you have any interest in biochar, please feel free to contact us.
